Christina "Christy" O'Brien concentrates her practice in the areas of Divorce, Marital and Family Law. More specifically, her family law practice includes dissolution of marriage (divorce), custody, paternity, child support, domestic violence injunctions, post-judgment modifications and dependency issues. Christy understands that these types of cases can be highly emotionally charged, especially when there are children involved, and she will develop a parenting plan or marital settlement agreement that is tailored to the needs of each individual family. Throughout her career, Christy has handled and tried both jury and non-jury trials in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit (Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Hendry and Glades Counties) and the Twelfth Judicial Circuit (Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto Counties) Florida. She is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts, as well as the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.

In 2020, Naples Illustrated named Christy to their list of "Top Lawyers" for her work in Family Law. Prior to joining Henderson Franklin, Christy had her own practice in Fort Myers where she handled family law and civil cases. Christy resides in Fort Myers with her husband and three sons. After gaining her B.B.A. in Finance from Texas, she planned to be a stock market analyst, and after working in that field for a short period of time, she felt that something was missing and that's not where her passion was. Shortly thereafter she relocated to Florida and attended Barry University School of Law, where her commitment to family law took root. Rania Arwani gained her B.B.A. in Finance at the University of Texas at Arlington.
